Eight Days After Burial: Remi Surutu Remembers Late Daughter, Ayo

The grieving mum, though accepted that the daughter is dead, would cherish moments spent with her the deceased.

For Remi Oshodi, Nollywood actress and mother of two who lost one penultimate week to sickle cell disorder, life must go on.
In an emotional tone, she penned down this message for her late daughter who was buried last Thursday at the Ebony Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos.
She wrote:

Late AYOMIKUN
Late AYOMIKUN

Ayomikun!
As every minute ticks and each day goes by, I am still glued to the moments shared with you. The times of joy and otherwise; those countless nights spent with you at the hospital; the temporary calmness I get whenever you are discharged; moments I had to rush home from movie production set whenever situation demands. The bond remains awesome. Indeed! When God says “its time”, no amount of money nor human care can stop God’s will.
It’s 8 days today after you were laid to eternal rest, we all miss you…you know it. You were an angel. Even at death, you left marks for us to notice.
Though we still grief, we are yet to recover.
Keep resting,as I am rest assured that the angels are glad to have an amazing addition.
We love you Ileriayo.” (sic)
